Master Nao
This project utilizes the NAO V6 robot to play a "robot master" who has inherited the skills of a martial arts grandmaster, using human-robot interactive performances to promote and preserve Chinese Kung Fu as an intangible cultural heritage for the younger generation

challenge
1.Impact of Lighting on Recognition: Due to the limitations of NAO's camera quality, facial recognition technology performs poorly in variable lighting environments, making it difficult to accurately identify real people. 2. Voice Recognition Limitations: The system has limitations in distinguishing commands, especially with a lower recognition rate for less common vocabulary. 3. Technical Reliability: In actual performances, the stability of facial and voice recognition technologies still faces challenges, requiring further technical improvements.
solution
1. Successful Integration of Interactive Technologies: The project successfully integrated facial and voice recognition technologies into the robot's performance, enabling personalized interaction based on different audience members (such as the character "Ye"). 2. Anthropomorphic Kung Fu Movements: Utilizing the multi-joint flexibility of the NAO robot, the project successfully choreographed a series of complex movements imitating a martial arts master, such as Tai Chi teaching. 3. Complete Narrative Flow: Through programming, a fully automated process was achieved, spanning from standby and interactive recognition to plot progression, Kung Fu instruction, and the conclusion of the performance.
impact
As an exploration of combining interactive robotics with performance art, the project provides important learning experiences for improving technical adaptability, refining testing processes, and enhancing audience engagement in the future.
